The project Biomechanics of Spine Injury and Pathologies (BSIP), supported by Initiative of Excellence A*MIDEX is a result of a long collaboration between researchers from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, Sainte-Justine Hospital, Ecole de Technologie Supérieure de Montréal, Sacré-Coeur Hospital, AP-HM, CNRS, IFSTTAR and Aix-Marseille University.

This collaboration will result in the creation of an International Associated Laboratory, the International Laboratory - Imaging and Biomechanics of the Spine (iLab-Spine), whose axis of research is imaging, modeling and biomechanics of the spine, from prevention to treatment of injuries and diseases.
